Tony Maas

WWF-Canada’s national Freshwater Program Director

Tony Maas is WWF-Canada’s national Freshwater Program Director. His work takes him across Canada to engage business leaders, policy makers, politicians and citizens in freshwater stewardship and conservation. He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science from Royal Roads University in Victoria and a Master of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo where his research focused on water governance and policy. Tony sits on external advisory boards for the Water Institute at the University of Waterloo and the University of Alberta’s Water Initiative, and currently chairs the steering committee of the Canadian Freshwater Alliance.
