Shenaz Kermalli is a freelance journalist specializing in Middle East issues and part-time journalism instructor at Humber College. She is a former producer and writer for Al Jazeera English, BBC News, and CBC Television and has been published in The Globe and Mail, The Guardian, The Toronto Star, Embassy News, Middle East Eye and Muftah. Shenaz holds an M.A Near and Middle Eastern Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies in the UK.
