Shahryar Pasandideh Gholamali is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science, George Washington University. Shahryar completed an Honours BA in International Relations and Middle Eastern studies at Trinity College, University of Toronto. Recently affiliated with the NATO Association of Canada, his research focuses on the impact of technological developments on international security, conventional military balances, and the interaction of nuclear and conventional deterrence regimes.
