Sean Winchester is a Ph.D. student at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs, Carleton University. He holds an M.A. in International Affairs from Carleton University and a B.A. in Political Science and History from McGill University. His current research interests include understanding the causes of wartime violence against civilians and evaluating the effectiveness of United Nations peacekeeping operations. In addition to his academic experience, Sean has also worked as an analyst in the Department of National Defence, the Department of Justice Canada, and Environment Canada.
