Rupert Medd is an independent scholar and was awarded a PhD in Environmental Literature from Bristol University, England in 2013. In 2015, he won an award for his contribution to the "Planetary Boundaries" course at Stockholm University. He has published articles on differing cultural attitudes toward Nature and two prose novels. His current research asserts similar socio-environmental issues to the world's Polar Regions.
