The return
My father always promised he would show us his childhood home in Syria. War made us wait.
Ottawa-based writer and public policy student, Carleton University
Pablo Mhanna-Sandoval was born in Montreal to Chilean and Syrian parents. This allowed him the privilege of speaking English, French and Spanish. He moved to Ottawa in 2009 and was inspired to get involved in the Franco-Ontarian community, namely as a school board student trustee and as the president of the Fédération de la jeunesse franco-ontarienne. Named after Pablo Neruda, he enjoys reading, writing, consuming various online media and conversation. Mhanna-Sandoval also hopes to pursue a career in law and one day travel to the Patagonia region.
