Director of Graduate Research, Canadian Centre for R2P

Misha is the Director of Graduate Research at the Canadian Centre for R2P. He is currently pursuing a J.D. at the Faculty of Law, University of Toronto. Misha has an Honours B.A. with high distinction in international relations and history from the University of Toronto. He is the recipient of the Governor-General’s Silver Medal for graduating with the highest standing in Arts at the University of Toronto. He also received the All Souls Prize from the Department of History for his senior thesis on the roots of the Responsibility to Protect in Canadian foreign policy. Outside of CCR2P, Misha has served as a Junior Fellow with the Bill Graham Centre for Contemporary International History. He recently traveled to the Caucasus to conduct research on anti-discrimination legislation in Georgia.
