Katherina Thomas is a journalist, global health researcher, author, and writer-in-residence at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard University.  Her work focuses on infectious disease outbreaks and health inequities in sub-Saharan Africa, where she has lived and worked for the last 10 years. She was the founding editor of Ebola Deeply, a platform that extensively covered the 2013-16 West Africa Ebola outbreak.
