Joe Landry is a SSHRC Joseph-Armand Bombardier Canada Graduate Scholar at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs. His research interests include fragile states, civil-war, forced migration, the security-development nexus and terrorism. He is currently working as managing editor of the Canadian Foreign Policy Journal, and as a research assistant with the SSHRC funded "Country Indicators for Foreign Policy" project. Joe has more than 5 years experience living and working overseas, including working as a university lecturer in Vietnam, a language instructor in South Korea, and a CIDA primary health educator in Tanzania.
