Irum Khan is an Indian journalist who has recently moved to Canada. In India, she worked for The Economic Times, F&B News, The Indian Express, and The Times of India in education. She extensively covered policy affairs and the economy.
Since moving to Canada, she has undertaken various communication projects, ranging from drafting an economic policy resolution for the Winnipeg Liberal National Policy Convention in 2016 to undertaking communication assignments for an India-based social service organization named Manavtawadi Samaj Seva Sangthana (Humanitarian Social Service Organization). In addition, she co-authored a book that explores the culinary journeys of the immigrant community in Edmonton. Currently, she is actively involved in the rebranding and further development of a news-based portal chaseottawa.ca.
