Hina Husain is a Pakistani-Canadian writer based in Toronto. Her work has appeared in VICE Canada, the CBC, HuffPost and other publications. She writes about Pakistani culture, food, history and her experiences as an immigrant in Canada. In 2019, her essay “Pakistan, Love, and Jane Eyre” won the grand prize in the creative nonfiction category for Wikimedia Foundation’s Heart of Knowledge Contest.
