Erin Aylward / @erin_aylward

Erin Aylward is a 2015 Pierre Elliott Trudeau Scholar and doctoral student at the University of Toronto whose research examines the polarization of sexual and reproductive rights within the UN. Prior to her doctoral studies, Erin created, funded and filled the position of Gender Advisor to Engineers Without Borders Canada and worked as a Public Outreach Officer with the women’s rights organization, Oxfam Canada. In addition to her doctoral research, Erin volunteers as a Gender Advisor to the social enterprise Voto Mobile, and as a research associate with ARC International. At present, she is based in Geneva as a Junior Visiting Fellow with the Graduate Institute.
