Benoit Paul Maraval is the Ottawa Correspondent for 45eNord.ca, the Montreal-based website specialising in foreign policy and defence-related issues. A former Analyst at NATO, for the French Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Foreign affairs, Benoit’s work focuses on civil-military relations, arms control agreements and NATO’s relations with Russia, Ukraine and Georgia. Benoit holds a LL.B from the French University of South-Brittany and from the University of Hull (UK) and a M.A in International Relations and Security Policy from the Institute of Political Studies “Sciences Po – Toulouse” (France).
