Barry Carin is an adjunct professor at the University of Victoria, where he served as the director for the Globalization and Governance program and associate director of the Centre for Global Studies. He was an editor of the journal Global Governance between 2003 and 2009 and is currently co-directing a joint initiative between CIGI and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to explore and recommend future directions for international development, beyond the 2015 United Nations Millennium Development Goals.
