Scott Janzwood is a PhD candidate in Global Governance at the Balsillie School of International Affairs, University of Waterloo. His research examines the ways that scientists and policymakers collaborate to address complex global challenges like climate change, infectious disease outbreaks, and climate change. His dissertation focuses on the issue of research prioritization at international organizations addressing global catastrophic risks.
