Michelle Legassicke is a SSHRC CGSD funded PhD Candidate in the Department of Political Science at Dalhousie University. She is a Research Fellow at the Roméo Dallaire Child Soldiers Initiative. Her PhD dissertation topic seeks to map out the political structures of rebel groups, and offers analysis of the degree of success/failure the respective governments have had in re-absorbing these structures.
