Deaglán de Bréadún is a journalist and author based in Dublin. He worked for many years with The Irish Times and was the paper’s bureau chief in Northern Ireland at the time of the Good Friday Agreement. He is the author of “The Far Side of Revenge: Making Peace in Northern Ireland” (Collins Press, 2008) and “Power Play: The Rise of Modern Sinn Féin” (Merrion Press, 2015).
